Hello Sexyderg-ers! Sorry it has been a while since my last blerg, I will be sure to be better in the next few weeks. This week I will be in Ireland playing the beautiful game…golf of course. Golf in Ireland is like cheese and burgers, they just go together, hand-in-hand. I can not wait to hit the links later this afternoon and put my golf skills to the test. However, I’m not here just for the golf. As a half-Irishman myself, I want to immerse in the culture in which I was, ahem, festered. I wish to explore my genetic roots and sip on the elixir of Irish heritage. Onwards and upwards, here we go!
First things first…I’ll watch anything with Zach Morris. Adding the turtle-ly looking guy from Road Trip and Clueless and I’m fuckin’ in. Franklin & Bash is about 2 buddy lawyers who follow all the rules. Just kidding, they break them all. Never saw that one coming. But after the pilot and the second episode, it seems watchable, and I kind of just wanted to talk about Zach Morris a bit, I wonder if he still bones Kelly?
Probably the greatest newspaper in all of United States of America, the NY Post is simply the best. Its catchy slogans, fearlessness to report anything it wants, and ability to relate to its devout readers has made this paper the most entertaining, daily newspaper in the country. Take the last couple political sex scandals. First, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger was dubbed “The Sperminator” following the news of his out of wedlock child. Most recently, Rep. Anthony Weiner’s controversy surrounding some lewd pictures involving his genitalia was reported as “The Battle of the Bulge.” These are just two of a line of many, many funny and catching slogans the editors of the NY Post has printed throughout its history. Oh, and the paper also leans right, what a winner!
The demise of the “gangsta rap” music genre that peeked in the early to mid 00’s comes to this derg as a blessing. I for one absolutely hated this music, characterized by artists like 50 cent, g-unit, and DMX. Watching a white suburban 13 year old beg to know “where the hood at?” is enough to make any derg cringe. However, I thoroughly enjoy the parodies of these artists, specifically this video. Have a laugh with my boy Kevin Hart..Herrt?
